Which is it?
I hid it the title of the thread. Those 11 states do not require an ID to vote.
You added “photo”. So you can kindly frick off.
Why can black people in Bucksnort TN figure out how to get a photo ID, but the blacks Biden grew up going to church with cannot?

Ironically, if you list those 15 states +DC, they are 15 of the 18 most Democratic states in the 2024 election.
Only Virginia, Vermont and Washington voted for Biden with some sort of voter ID.

1. What kind of ID doesn’t have a photo?
2. How is non-photo ID relevant to the save act… which stipulates that photo ID is not sufficient?
I guess if you want to be technical about ID verification, technically all 50 states are doing that in some form.

SC does not require it. They asked you for one. If you hadn’t produced one, they would have allowed you to sign an affidavit or accepted your registration card as a substitute.

Identity is typically verified by signature match against registration records.

Narrow exceptions may apply (e.g., first-time voters who registered by mail/online without prior ID verification under the Help America Vote Act, or provisional ballots). In DC, most registered voters need no ID, but certain first-time mail/online registrants may need to show ID (photo or non-photo) the first time they vote.

Electoral vote numbers are based on the 2020 census apportionment and remain the same for 2024 and 2028.

Voter ID rules are stable as of 2025–2026 but can be confirmed with state/D.C. election offices for any updates.
Per Grok, Rhode Island requires photo ID to vote.
Only takes 270 to win...

It's not that easy.

I have to show my ID everytime I vote in Louisiana

It might be a hassle & you might have to wait longer, but by law SC allows it.
In states like Georgia, voting with an ID would result in your vote not counting unless cured.
In SC, you can still cast a countable ballot on the spot without it.

Forgot ID? Provisional ballot... you have to come back with ID to get it counted.
Can't get ID? Have to prove a hardship

If you didn’t have one, they’d ask you for name + DOB & your vote would count.

Different topic, same solution national divorce.

It's not something wrong with the people in those (or any) states.
except that they almost all vote for democrats...it's more than a coincidence
None of those people referenced vote on passage of the SAVE Act. If they did, the SAVE Act would overwhelmingly pass. The problem isn't the voters in those states.

Depends. You can sign an affidavit, not everyone who doesn’t present photo ID has to vote provisionally.
I’ve never had to do it, just illustrating how easily misleading lists like OPs can be.

They have a list showing who is registered, where they live, etc. With local control over voting, it is impossible to slip large numbers of people onto the rolls who do not live there. The available addresses are limited by the actual places to live.

The government should pass a law that any county that takes over a certain time to add up the votes and release it to the public or get a certain percentage more voter turn out then average gets audited by the federal government. These counties taking more then 3 hours to count votes is crazy so is sone with unrealistic voter turn out .

I'll write more slowly.
The citizens in those states have been polled. They WANT the SAVE Act passed, but they have no vote, and are not the problem here.
The Senators vote. The Senators defy their voters, vote against the SAVE Act, and are thus the problem.
Posted on 3/17/26 at 3:38 pm to Rebel
Let’s not certify election results from a non id state. No way to know if it legit. Illegal vote acceptance is voter suppression. Electoral college votes no longer count. No voting senators or voting house members.

Trump has repeatedly given them the opportunity to do the right thing by the American people, and our "elected" officials have proven themselves incapable of doing that.
They refused the carrot.
Now they get the stick.
