Is it makes you appreciate the things we’ve taken for granted.

So far, my life hasn't changed much. Things are just normal around here. This isn't a hard time.

Like porn. With a house full of kids and a wife I haven’t seen porn in weeks.

My Grandfather is in a nursing home, today is his birthday & we can’t see him.
They wouldn’t let me leave a card, they did take him the balloons I brought.
We talk on the phone but it’s not the same.

I am having a real hard time with this

It’s tough, hope she’s doing ok

It worries me that any future flu outbreak will be an automatic lockdown of nursing homes

Agree, hanging out with friends, shaking your buddies hand, hugging your parents. shite just being able to go out to eat with your family. shite really changed a lot that I think we all took for granted.

I’m watching Old School and they just showed the scene where Luke Wilson and Ellen Pompeo were eating a the diner. I was thinking of how simple things used to be.

Why do people keep saying this?
“For the betterment of the country.”
You have all your rights and amendments as long as it serves the greater good. You do not have those in certain circumstances. Ref: yelling fire in a crowded theater.

Because you haven’t been able to buy toilet paper or sit down at a restaurant for a couple of weeks???

If you like the feeling, try giving up something that’s meaningful to you for Lent next year. You’ll appreciate it when Lent’s over.

Definitely tough.

My mom is in Livingston Parish and I'm here; my sister is in Birmingham and my dad and brother are gone.

She is 77 and has diabetes. She has shopped on her own twice; I offer to send meat and other groceries through online services but she wants to do this on her own. I am worried.

Our training mission is continuing so I can't just leave. I miss being able to get in my car and go back to LA to take care of things for my mom.

People are taking note of Trump's leadership.

I have several friends and family that voted for Trump but were still having misgivings about him.

No more.
