Who exactly do they think will have a chance of the presidency on the left?
Whoever they nominate. Dems win easy in 2028
GOP is fractured and Trump approval at all time lows. Older republicans voters will want Rubio while younger MAGA types will want JD. Whoever loses primary many of his voters will likely stay home

Democrats want this. Especially this new socialist democratic division.
It's why every Congressional, Senate and local election should include a picture with the following caption on the bottom, in a least two languages.
"I will not arrive and worry about being deported. I would rather stay here until [Trump] leaves."

I hope so. But history suggests otherwise.
Inform me on the recent history of Republican nominees winning the popular vote…

One of the worst things to happen in this country is click bait video disguised as news.
The first thing i check is the source. This one
MostlyPeaceful.media: generally right-leaning, with a focus on public order, crime, and immigration.
Give something I can trust, if such a thing exists.

The border is closed, thanks to the greatest President ever.

Almost anybody they run.
Roughly half the country is going to vote for them no matter who it is.
Why haven't y'all caught onto that by now?

Just for clarity's sake, I'm not saying that.
What I am saying is that the days of Ronald Regan-style assbeatings are over forever. There's no such thing as a sure thing anymore.
Unless something drastically changes with the political climate, every election will come down to the wire.
People get fooled by the electoral college and think the margins of victory are much greater than they actually are.
The Democrats just ran the worst, stupidest, most ninny, foolish, least serious, least qualified candidate for POTUS in the history of the country, and if she had pulled back even 10-15% on the crazy woke, it would have been neck and neck this past time around.

a large majority of democrat voters support a secure border

And not one of them will vote Republican because of it.

You were the same guy who melted during the Massie election and were so delusional you didn’t see what was coming. Again you can’t see that Trump the guy charged with felonies, compared to Hitler etc won the popular vote against a minority female democrat and now voter turnout for the left is abysmal.

As you say, based on literally nothing and with everything they say and do proving otherwise.
What. An. Idiot.

I think you may have me confused with someone else because I have no idea what you are talking about. I have never participated in discussions about Thomas Massie...he's a representative from a state that I don't live in and therefore can't do anything about. That's always been my policy regarding that guy. I didn't post one word about his election.

LOL. I thought we were talking about POTUS elections.
We were, weren't we?
A third fewer people historically vote in midterms vs POTUS elections, and only around 10% of registered voters vote in primary elections.
And it's true that people vote more closely to POTUS elections in state and local elections than they used to, but that's the point.
EDIT: Your grammar was so bad I was confused at first, so you can disregard the section directly above.
Populism has taken over both parties. No one much cares about policy anymore. Certainly no one cares about character any more. It's about tribal wins.
In 2026 Trump had Biden's record to run on. The nominee doesn't have that in 2028. Whoever that is is going to have to run on Trump's record.
I'll bet you any amount you want that whoever runs on the Democratic ticket for POTUS in 2028, they will be competitive. And if the Republican Party fricks around in 2028, they will find out.
The downside to such slavish devotion to one guy is that he eventually can't be POTUS any more. It's going to likely be very chaotic for the party to fill the vacuum he leaves.
Democrats do not have a similar problem. They support whoever the nominee is. At least to a much greater degree than MAGA does.

Yet they had no issue whatsoever voting for “the border czar” of the worst administration in history on border security.
