It is an interesting topic for a number of reasons, including but not limited to:
(1) Maybe gay rights is the last true frontier for civil rights in our society;
(2) Some argue the next frontier will be polygamy - which is interesting because the state that would most likely push such an agenda is a solid red state;
(3) Some argue it may be lowering the age of consent - interesting and taboo topic for reason;
(4) Some argue it may be reducing sex offender penalties because they "are born that way" - again a taboo topic for good reason.
The obvious point of the topic and thread is two-fold:
(1) I simply wonder what the next frontier is, and perhaps more importantly;
(2) Civil rights and civil rights abuses or claimed abuses have been used by both the left and right to rally the willing troops and divide the nation for political gain by politicians for years...I wonder how they will continue to use this political tool and willful idiots to push agendas?

I know you meant this in jest, but historically the pendulum always swings back because kids like to rebel and if you have pushed the envelope to the extreme on one side, the only way to rebel is to go back the other way. Hopefully, heightism is finally recognized.
Airline seats (coach), seats at sports/concert venues, and cars are just too fricking small.
Hell, some doorways are too short.
It's time to start making the country a more livable place for me and my 6'6"+ (which apparently, is like half the OT) brethren.
