Trump won.

The Democrats know whoever gets the nomination will be a sacrificial lamb for 2020. They’ll hold Michael/Michelle in reserve for 2024. Perhaps the consolation prize for the 2020 lamb will be the Vice-President slot in 2024. I don’t know about Hilldawg. Perhaps she will be content trying to be the power behind the throne.

Objectively speaking this was by far the best debate for the Democrats. Their crazy was way toned down compared to the previous debates (ESPECIALLY compared to the climate change or LGBTQ stuff town halls).

This. There was a conscious effort to appear middle of the road. I mean half the debate was a discussion about the costs of these policies and how there’s no way to afford them all

It was like we went back in time to Clinton era Dems. There was definitely a “talking to” before they went out on stage. They all moved center.

ETA: As to who won, I liked Tulsi and thought she appeared more presidential than any of them. But, I’m not a lefty. To most on the left I’m sure Warren confirmed her position as the leader.

Talking heads are saying Warren but I dont see it. She came off as whiny and too defensive every time some one said something negative to her. Also still hasnt gave details on how she is stretching her wealth tax over Trillions of $$$ of programs.

I saw something that made sense the other day, a lot are staying in hoping it goes to a brokered convention or the DNC is keeping them all in to fundraise more and have more money to go after Trump.

After watching that, I think Warren might be the strongest of the candidates on stage.

But overall, the biggest winner is Trump.

All but Castro back tracked from their earlier anti-gun stance. He still wanted to go door to door for search and seizure.

I noticed that the man that just had a Heart Catheterization wants to bring down the drug companies that make opioids.

Tulsi needs to run as a third party.

I mentioned on Twitter that she would get a lot of compromise votes from people who voted for Trump last time. She would be the ultimate compromise between left and right, which is why she will never get the air time.

Yang

Destroyed Warren and her wealth tax and her position in automation with some hard facts. She's all talk.

As candidates drop Yang will get more air time and he is unquestionably the best Dem candidate imo.

He is a capitalist so he has more appeal to conservatives than the like of Bernie and Warren.
