Yes, that's what I meant when I said I prefer not getting fricked.

And you're correct, nobody ever talks about the government bending them over and fricking them metaphorically ever.

And you aren't the one telling me to find the best dick.

We are not the good guys any longer and it sucks.

We never were the good guys

1) We began by leading an insurrection against Britain. Which laid the foundation for multiple revolutions across the world. Our example didnt work out well for Russia or France

2) We allowed media propaganda to lead us into multiple wars, where Americans were forced to serve and die in order to make newspaper men rich

3) We were the only nation on the planet to kill 600K of its own free people, using a lie about freeing other people

4) The only country to drop atomic bombs

5) We didnt free anyone from aggression. Yes, we beat the Nazis, but made just switched their overlords when we surrendered them over to communism

6) We have been cheating elections since forever, and presidential elections since 1960

7) We have allowed our govt to sell us out to immigrants, foreign powers, judicial activism, and global corporations

Those are not the actions of "the good guys"

This was one of the greatest events in human history. I strongly disagree.

huh? You've never heard of Hitler, Stalin, Mao etc? I guess you are talking about the civil war?

You just compared Abe Lincoln of the 19th century to some of the most vile people on the planet. You still want to stick with us being the good guys prior to 1913?

btw, the Maine was also sunk in the 19th century

Many are just trigger topics meant to divide people.

Ok, so why doesn’t the left drop its positions on these topics and unite with us?

You claimed Abe Lincoln was the only person to kill more than 600k of his own people. I named 3 others who had way more.

It seems unlikely it was sunk on purpose, so I'm assuming you are talking about the fact people used it to push an agenda.

I mean if you want to talk about the country doing bad things before 1913 I'm sure we can make a list. I'm not sure what the point is here, there is a reason government should be limited, and these would all just be reasons why and examples of the government overstepping it's bounds.

1913 is when things went into high gear. And it wasn't our first central bank.

Because we are divided on social and other issues as I mentioned. Nobody values freedom and everyone thinks it's the governments job to force their views on everyone else.

In truth, the federal government should rarely if ever be involved in domestic issues in a republic. All these issues, education, welfare, healthcare, justice and so forth are all state level government.

These issues have been moved up to the federal level, likely because it's easier to corrupt them there, but also as a means of using the topics to gain votes while the bigger issues do not change in the parties.

If there aren't any problems, they have nothing to run on. And if things like foreign policy, monetary policy and so forth as listed in the constitution were the only things we voted for on the federal level as intended, then there is no way in hell the uniparty could gain support.

When I talk to democrats, all they want to tell me is the evil shite Republicans will do.

When I talk to republicans, all they want to tell me is the evil shite Democrats will do.

All I see are 2 wings of the same bird.

The idea I must believe everything government does is good or leave the country is one of the most unamerican standards possible.

Well, we know what the alternatives are, and only some of the more extreme options would be considered honorable in some circles.

I'll continue to push for a limited constitutional government who's only purpose is to protect the liberties and freedoms of its citizens until the day I die.

That is my standard for government and the next best alternative is anarchy.
