White is a political concept with no basis in science. If it were a scientifically valid term, you wouldn't see the definition expand over time (such as adding Irish, Italians, and Mexicans who shoot black people but not Mexicans who don't). You also wouldn't have the one drop rule.

I didn't find it that offensive, really. The Indian guy is right. White people who latch onto these New Age trends hiding under the guise of Asian religions are idiotic. These people have no idea what Hinduism or Buddhism are about and they use the symbols to look cool and liberated.

Probably not, but if you consider that (1) on the surface, most of the time it seems to be a white thing and (2) his target demographic is mostly white people, the segment doesn't seem too far of a stretch.
