People with morals.

I've been back to work since the first of May. Everything and everyone seems to be open and functioning fine in our small town. There are lots of job openings around as well. My daughter applied for 2 jobs today and both places contacted her for an interview on Monday.

Who are these unemployed people?
Im not trying to seem like im doubting it, I truly don't see it in my 4 County area.

Also
I do see alot of able bodied, young , healthy people sitting on their gawtdamn porches all day long! Drinking & living a responsibility free life.
shite. Thats an epidemic here in the ms delta.

Democrats are so damn stupid.

A $15 minimum will kill small businesses outside of already hyper-inflated areas like Cali, NY, DC, Seattle, etc.

This is so damn stupid because for small business owners to turn a profit they are going to have to severely hike prices in response.. which will harm the market not help it.

Why are people so damn stupid on both sides of the isle?

So more people unemployed? Got it.

Nah. More like any business that isn't named Wal-mart goes bye bye.

Huge companies will get more and more business as smaller businesses shut down, thus getting better prices on the cost of the goods that they sell. Those prices will help offset the higher labor costs and there will effectively be no middle class or small businesses in this country anymore.

So... imagine COVID economy ----- forever.

our current wages are not good enough but at the same time if you increase the minimum than many small businesses can't afford employees

seems like a ubi would be the best all around policy even though it's not perfect

Wait a minute. I thought that dude in Georgia told us that if Georgians elected him (and that other dude) we'd all get $ 2000. Like I remember during a campagin ad he said he personally spoke with Ole Joe.......and Joe guaranteed it was going to be $ 2000. What's the deal here?

There ya go......the old bait and switch routine. Dang these democrat polticians are slick.

You’ve got it be kidding Joe: raising labor costs by a huge percent in the middle of a recession?

The ultimate endgame is to destroy small business and the middle class.

Get adjusted pal. The government owns your rental properties now.

Should I just stop paying rent right now and pocket the $525 and move out when I buy a house?

I don't live in section 8 or anything. It's a rental property through a real estate agency. Also will it tank my credit?

I imagine your landlord would sue for backpay and then you'd get wage garnished and yes it will tank your credit
