NEW on Biden $1.9T plan:
-- $2K checks (adds $1,400 to $600). Adult dependents IN
-- $400/week UI thru Sept, will push 4 "triggers." Not retroactive
-- CTC to $3,000/yr per kid, fully refundable
-- $15/hr min. wage
-- Eviction moratorium thru 9/21
You’ve got it be kidding Joe: raising labor costs by a huge percent in the middle of a recession?
Unacceptable and Bush league to include it in a relief bill

Oh my god they actually want to crater the financial system and cause even more people to stop paying rent.

Through September? Some douche who can afford it might just not pay his rent for 8 months and then go buy a house using the saved rent costs.

Does this mean an immediate $15/hr minimum wage or progressively increasing it to $15 like NY, FL, CA?

Maybe a Dodge Charger with 22’s.

Election moritorium on all housing or just federally funded? Because isn’t it illegal to suppress income on individuals

What does it matter? It means discounting retirement savings and savings in general and higher cost for everything else.
Democrats are arse hoe.

Do those people have any idea that 85% pay raise from minimum ripples up the hierarchy of hourly worker wages, effectively doubling the labor cost (by the time you add PRTI) of every manufactured or produced good and service in the country?
Then factor in the state unemployment funds paying out at the new wage rates when they only have reserves on hand based on the old rates?
