quote:

You must stay home to save lives. You must socially distance and lock down.

Unless you're protesting racism and police brutality.

This appears to be the message from some government and health officials, who for months enforced a rigorous and unprecedented economic shutdown in the name of stemming the spread of the coronavirus pandemic -- resulting in millions losing their jobs and students being sent home from schools across the country.

But as states just now begin to emerge from those lockdowns, some have argued in favor of an exception to those guidelines for those protesting the death of George Floyd -- suggesting the gains from seeking police reforms outweigh the risks of a new surge in virus cases.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, whose state had some of the harshest lockdown measures in the country, was pictured shoulder-to-shoulder protesting with other officials and demonstrators. Her office told the Detroit News that Whitmer wore a mask and denied she violated her executive order.
quote:

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, meanwhile, suggested that protesters against police brutality were more important than business owners keen to know when they could regain their livelihoods.
quote:

Meanwhile, Politico gathered examples of a number of experts who have reversed course on the importance of keeping strict social distancing measures in place.

LINK
Gov Cooper (D) of NC on telling the RNC & Trump their convention must be scaled back with social distancing.

Cooper has the raw nerve to promote the violent protests in NC; and then has the complete and full audacity to preach the Holy Bible while holding Trump's picture of the Bible in front of the DC church.

The President showing leadership and showing a burnt by radicals church, really pissed off the prog filth. What does that say?

Didn’t Whitmer have a meltdown about the protests over the lockdown? What a piece of shite.

Trump has responsibility for this bullshite by letting Fauci run wild for months. He should be on the phone with guys like Abbott and Kemp pushing for FULL re-opening.

Trump had no choice with the pandemic and they knew it. It was damned if he did shut down, damned if he didn't. Pandemic is over, now that we are in Muh racism all kneel to BLM, care to give a hint what they will try next?

He’s had a choice for months

Every bit of data confirms this is a more contagious flu that is deadly to already vulnerable populations

Absolutely not something you can feasibly shut down for

The protests to reopen businesses would help rebound the economy so it had to be fought. None of the BLM protesters are fighting to go back to work and they are damaging businesses so no risk to the economy benefiting so those can be allowed to continue without resistance.

In addition, the more these protesters are together, the more the virus spreads between them. So you potentially get a second wave of spread to open up the opportunity to shut down again completely. Considering that the virus kills more black people than anybody else and these protests are majority black people, the intent is obvious to increase deaths as well.

It is just another push to sacrifice American lives and the American economy to try and keep Trump from being reelected. If medical professionals tell you a protest for jobs will spread the virus but a BLM protest is perfectly safe, it should be obvious they have a nefarious agenda but somehow the libs don't see this.

Actually, it’s not. The looters are mostly black, the protests and rioters are mostly white.

The amount of Orwellian doublespeak that has been going on over the past week is absolutely insane.

It's literally mind numbing to me to listen to them try and juggle these two stories. This "plan" or whatever you want to call it is absolutely brilliant. At some point I feel like even the most indoctrinated of them all are going to realize this is all nonsense. How is it possible to buy in to both of these narratives?

The other side has Satanists marching along side them. I don't think they care much for God.

So we have learned that there is a pandemic exception to the Constitution,

and a BLM exception to that exception.

The thing is, basically THE WHOLE WORLD shut down. I can’t see how defiance in the face of that would have been possible. You can’t pretend this shite was happening in a vacuum.

I’m not saying it would have been better not to. I’m just acknowledging the situation and the logistics.

When corona does flare up as a result of the protests, it might provide a convenient excuse to shutdown in states nearer the election.

The democrats are ready for mail in ballots for all; and maybe even vote online so theycan change it to an all D voting ticket. Book it.
