You’re not alone in that thinking, but yourself and many others seem to not understand or forgetting a critical part of this plan.
We could have approached it with a scorched earth mindset and laid waste to everything. Power Plants, Water plants, Food Warehouses and anything that supports way of life survival and crushed that country into oblivion which would have caused catastrophic damage and massive death toll within two weeks or even sooner.
How would you view that or the world for that matter. Instead we’re trying to save as many lives as possible and at the same time eliminate and kill the root of the problem which is the leadership from top to bottom and cause the regime to collapse on itself. That takes a little longer to do then the scorched earth plan which would have been extremely easy to do.

Hard to believe there's anything left worth targeting in Tehran at this point. Centcom and ISW have both shown the numbers - 300-500 strikes PER DAY on average between the US and Israeli Air Forces
I realize this is spread across a very large country, but there's been daily strikes in Tehran since this started. There can't be much left
