If tweet fails to load, click here. I realize that criticizing Trump and Hegseth is a dangerous proposition on this site. I still support the war and have faith in Trump and Hegseth but turning down Ukraine's offer of assistance and offer to sell anti-drone system to the US military earlier this year was a mistake.

I hope so as I thought we had the best technology.

To the extent that reports like this are true (I have no idea), it only reinforces the case for stopping the Islamic regime in Iran now. They've repeatedly demonstrated their bad intentions over decades. Expecting them to become less aggressive as they accumulate more power and spread their influence more broadly around the globe (to places like Venezuela) would have been foolish. A stitch in time saves nine.

wasn't the fatah-3 in development going to have the ability to reach the USA?

Fattah-2 has likely been used with some successes in penetrating defenses and causing localized damage, validating parts of Iran's hypersonic claims in a real-world scenario. But exaggerated narratives (total invincibility, massive officer kills, defenses fully collapsed) lack strong independent confirmation and align more with propaganda.

The missile hit a fortified IDF command center.
7 senior officers dead.
Here is why this changes everything.
A hypersonic glide vehicle does NOT fly in a straight line.
It goes to the edge of the atmosphere.
Then it glides back down — changing direction, changing altitude, moving at Mach 15.
That is roughly 18,000 km per hour.
No radar in the world tracks that well enough to intercept it.
Iron Dome — the most famous missile defense on earth — was built for this exact threat.
It failed.
And Iran is already testing Fattah-3, which launches 15 separate warheads from ONE missile.
Iron Dome cannot track 15 targets coming at Mach 15 simultaneously.
Israel spent $20 billion building a defense system.
Iran just made it obsolete.
Oil hit $126 per barrel this week because of exactly this threat.
If you think this stays in the Middle East, you haven't been paying attention
The tweet you posted was based on an article from Military Watch Magazine according to grok,
Here is an AI review of Military Watch Magazine
quote:
Military Watch Magazine (MWM) is widely regarded by independent fact-checkers and analysts as having a strong, consistent bias in favor of Russia, China, and North Korea, frequently operating as a source of pro-Russian propaganda.
Based on analysis of its reporting, the publication is often viewed as "dubious" or "unreliable" by Western and Ukrainian observers.
Key Aspects of Bias and Reliability
Pro-Russian Narratives: MWM frequently publishes claims that match those of the Russian Ministry of Defense or Russian state media, asserting the superiority of Russian equipment and emphasizing heavy losses for Ukraine and its Western allies.
Fabricated or Misleading Reports: The outlet has been accused of disseminating false information, such as unfounded claims about the destruction of Patriot missile defense systems in Ukraine, which were not confirmed by independent analysts or US officials.
Specific Biases: Coverage consistently frames Russian and North Korean missile technology positively, while criticizing Western technology and the actions of the Royal Navy.
Questionable Credibility: Media Bias/Fact Check, which tracks the reliability of news sources, rates the site as biased. Some users on analytical platforms suggest the site frequently sources information from its own articles, leading to a lack of transparency and credibility.
Lack of Transparency: There is limited to no transparency regarding the owners, leadership, and editorial staff of the site, making it difficult to verify its claimed status as a reliable analytical publication.
Contextual Distinctions
It is important to distinguish Military Watch Magazine from legitimate military publications such as Military Times, which is considered an independent source by groups like AllSides.

No, not entirely. Iran has deployed Fattah-2 hypersonic glide missiles in the ongoing 2026 conflict, with some reports of successful strikes evading interceptors. However, claims of one missile hitting a fortified IDF command center and killing exactly 7 senior officers (with all 10 interceptors missing) come mainly from Iranian sources and unverified military blogs, not confirmed by IDF, Western intel, or outlets like Critical Threats Project. Total Israeli deaths from all Iranian strikes: ~19, mostly civilians. Oil is ~$108/barrel, not $126. Defenses have intercepted the majority.

oh ffs, the ukranians didnt even know what a drone was when the US was already using reapers and guiding them from half a world away.
I highly doubt the ghost of anti drones was gonna help the US. If they are that good, why havent they pushed Russia out of Ukraine.

In a written statement posted to Iranian-linked social media channels, Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei congratulates his followers on the occasion of the festivals of Eid al-Fitr and Nowruz. This is his second written statement since assuming power following claims from the U.S. and others that he had been injured in an earlier strike.

TRUMP HAS NO PLANS TO SEND TROOPS INTO IRAN, WHITE HOUSE SAYS
A White House official said Trump has “no plans” to deploy troops to Iran despite new troop movements and reports of a possible Kharg Island blockade. The official added the U.S. military could “take out Kharg Island at any time” but is keeping options open and not revealing strategy.

Yes, it's true. Bloomberg reported yesterday (March 19, 2026) that at least 16 US military aircraft have been lost since the war with Iran began Feb 28—including 10 MQ-9 Reaper drones hit by enemy fire, 3 F-15s downed by friendly fire in Kuwait, a KC-135 tanker crash that killed 6 crew, plus damage to others in strikes/accidents. Not fake news from this account.
