I imagine the expeditionary unit headed there would do that if he chooses to go the route?
I’ve been told they’re a week away but idk anything about the time frame just what a friend told me based on there departure location

Kharg Island is the Trump card if he needs it.
However, Trump got lucky with Iran attacking the Gulf States. He now has the Gulf states as allies. Very big. He can't do anything to lose their support.
It is very interesting dynamic right now. Something @sethjlevy talked about almost a year ago on my show.
Quietly, the Gulf states would like to see regime change in Iran because Iran's promotion of terror is holding back the regions economic goals.
This is a very complex issue. And Trump is the best guy for the job.

The only reason for us to take Kharg island would be to prevent the IRGC from blowing it up when they finally realize that all hope is lost for them.

I personally don’t see much strategic value in taking Kharg Island, at least not in the short term. The islands in the strait of Hormuz are more important.
