I get the caution but didn’t we offer to insure them and escort them through? I’m sure we have blown up their missile batteries nearby on land by now. They definitely don’t have a navy anymore

Noticeably silent on the past mistakes made by the last Shah installed in Iran by the US.

Our nation mourns the loss of six extraordinary American heroes. These brave warriors gave everything in service to our country, supporting Operation Epic Fury.

Major Jeffrey R. O’Brien.

Captain Cody A. Khork.

Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert M. Marzan.

Sergeant First Class Nicole M. Amor.

Sergeant First Class Noah L. Tietjens.

Sergeant Declan J. Coady.

Our service members bear a responsibility and a duty most civilians will never come close to understanding. They know that the day might come when they are asked to risk their life in defense of their country. As Secretary of War, I stand with an unbreakable spirit to honor their memory and the resolve they embodied.

To their families, loved ones, and fellow warfighters: We lift you up in prayer and pledge our unwavering support. Their deaths will not be in vain. We will honor them with action. We will hunt down the Iranians radicals responsible, dismantle their military capabilities, and ensure that justice is swift and absolute. We stand stronger than ever, ready to avenge these fallen heroes and crush the threats in Iran that dare to challenge us. America does not yield; we advance, we prevail, and this we'll defend.

God bless our warfighters, their families, and the United States of America.

Oil at 90 dollars a barrel

Starting to think the cost isn’t worth this war. Especially if it drags out

My input costs on the farm about to go through the roof and I can’t afford that right now

Typical American farmer. Only cares about his bottom line.

The war will be over in less than 3 months. Oil prices will come down before that as soon as the threat of Iranian anti-ship missiles and artillery are lowered. I say another week or 2 tops.

Trump said that we would insure them but I do not know how many shipping companies have taken him up on the offer.

It is not just missiles. The Strait of Hormuz is only 20 something kms at the chokepoint. That is within artillery range. Give it another week for airstrikes and special forces to take out the missiles and artillery positions. Then the straits will open back up.

Cash is one thing.

Spare parts and missiles are another. Anything from China lands or pulls into port as things are unloaded you just bomb it immediately.

Yea, you didn't have one back then because all the catfish flooded our market from overseas. Now thanks to President Trump the market is not unfairly stacked against American producers, in spite of the best efforts of the treasonous judiciary.

Now shut your pie hole and let President Trump finish something that has needed to be done since 1979.

I’m sure I’ll get some down votes, but I love it when oil and LNG prices are high. I live on top of the Haynesville shale. Many of my friends and family work in or have interests in the oil and gas industries. My dad always said high oil prices are good for Louisiana.

I’m in the construction industry, when people around here start collecting big royalty checks. They build homes and do home improvements.
