10k US troops and we had to tell them to run and hide. Get your head out of the ground man.

Iranian missiles and drones struck the headquarters of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command at Naval Support Activity Bahrain, the airport, residential buildings and a hotel on the island. The naval base typically hosts some 8,300 service members and their families, according to the Navy.

Why put a life at risk for a “base” which can be rebuilt. Iran is having a harder time getting missiles and drones in the air. Best to wait it out and rebuild

Donald Trump, President of the United States, told the NewsNation network that it will soon become clear what America's retaliatory response will be to the attack on this country's embassy in Riyadh and the killing of American military forces during the conflict with Iran.
A reporter from this media outlet published this matter on the X network on Monday, citing his conversation with Trump.
The Saudi Ministry of Defense also announced on Tuesday in a message on X that, based on initial assessment, the US embassy in Riyadh was targeted by two drones, which caused a limited fire and minor material damage.

I’m shocked Saudi hasn’t taken the gloves off yet and asked the US to let them strike some secondary targets. They’re either incompetent or scared.

It’ll take some time to integrate them into the war plan.

More than a dozen U.S. Air Force KC-135 "Stratotankers" have launched from bases around the United States and are in the process of crossing the Atlantic Ocean and Europe, likely on their way to join forces in the Middle East for Operation Epic Fury. Some of them appear to be stopping in Bangor, ME to rest & refuel before pressing onward.

Some of these came out of Oklahoma as you can tell by call signs.

One would think. Are any other countries flying sorties or just us and Israel?

I’m guessing the Saudis and other gulf states don’t have a ton of refueling aircraft so these will help them join the fight.

Same thing happened this summer when we dropped the MOAB’s.

I wonder if the Air Force baws not involved in this (e.g., still in the US, deployed elsewhere) are jealous. Other than the dumbass Kuwaitis shooting down a few F15s, it seems like these pilots must be having an absolute blast doing what they signed up to do.

They could be escorting heavy bombers that are casting specialized stocks of bombs over.

Could be the largest of the bunker busters and other specialized bombs in that convoy that are being brought over for specific targets

Also the first wave tankers will need maintenance. But this is way more than that. I think there will be a lot of earthquakes in Iran soon.

They bring over those big stratotanker aircraft refuelers for a major air operation with heavy weapons, with aircraft constantly in the sky.

The June 2025 B-2 bombings on Iran took 37 hours round flight, which is a ton of time in the air for a huge plane.

Rubio already said the hardest hit has yet to come.

Might be the largest non-nuclear MOAB bombing of all time coming in a few days.

The punk arse Bush Jr. should have rolled right through Iran when we had the 4th ID on the border. It would have save so many lives that it isn't calculable.
