Iran is just legit slinging missiles all over the region. Wild. What’s even more wild is Israel’s non involvement both ways. I can’t figure that out. Did Trump tell Israel to hang tight for now and on the other side Iran is legit scared of Israel?

We have asked Israel to stay out of it for now as there are concerns that they if they get involved, the war will enter a whole new state in which all of Iran's proxies will turn the region into a war zone. It seems that as long as they are not attacked Israel has agreed to stay put for now.

IMO, Iran has not attacked Israel yet because they know if they do so, there is no hope that they will stop until regime change is achieved. With Trump, there seems to be situation where he does not want to topple the regime, but is looking for his "Iranian Delcy". Israel is looking to end the IR for forever, so they have refrained from lobbing missiles their way.

Kuwait's Ministry of Defense says its armed forces have intercepted multiple Iranian ballistic missiles and drones over Kuwaiti airspace since early this morning.

According to the ministry, Iranian strikes targeted military, security, civilian, oil, electricity, and water infrastructure, causing fires and significant damage. Several firefighters and oil sector workers were injured while responding, while falling debris caused damage in residential areas. No civilian fatalities or injuries from the debris have been reported.

The ministry says Kuwaiti forces remain on high alert and continue to conduct air defense operations in coordination with other government agencies.

Next full moon is Wednesday. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some kind of ground operation then.

Also, why with all these attacks we don’t care about the stock market? It’s like we failed our maximum pressure approach because we cared about the stock market.

I am extremely anti this war, but even I have to admit a successful ground invasion of Bandar Abbas would be really fricking cool.

IDK.... but in my thinking, if we invaded one of their islands it would have two immediate effects...

1) Much of the missiles and drones Iran is lobbing at its neighbors would be redirected to the "invading" force..

2) Many of the IRGC would come out of hiding making them easier targets

Or course every bit of that is speculative....

(edited for grammar.. lol)

Yea I mean how would we even get our people in there in sufficient numbers to hold any area of significance? Seems damn near impossible, which is why if they were able to somehow do it, it would be incredible.

For the record I don’t think we’d be the only invading ground force.

Not likely.
Gulf state militaries are there to keep the imported labor in check.

It wouldn’t take much to take a few islands in the strait. Obviously I think they’d mostly be in a support role.

Regarding Delcy and Venezuela. I admit I was surprised when Trump pivoted from Machado (who will be president in the next election) to Delcy.

Turns out the CIA gave Trump a set of documents that told him EVERYTHING about Venezuela's relationship with China, Cuba, the drug cartels (now you know why we knew where the drug boats were leaving from and how to target), how to get Machado out, and even the diagrams of Maduro's compound, guard stations, and even the fact his bedroom door was reinforced. Only one person could know that and they must have had ball (or tatas) of steel....and it was Delcy. So she was perfect for the transition because she knew who she could trust and who was a Maduro loyalist.

The closest person Iran has is President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the IRGC captured him.

We shall see if someone else pops up.

Sounds like we have severely curtailed their ability to move cargo out of the areas around the ports, and nothing arriving due to blockade. Half their imports come through that area, gonna get real real difficult to keep the natives in check.
