We really don't know what's going on behind the scenes verses what comes out on various media and most of that is just hot air, propaganda and speculation.
If Hillary and Obama could oust Ghaddafi by providing limited air support to selected insurgents, I'm sure the US and Israel could do the same in Iran. Of course, Obama and Hillary picked insurgents who were worse than Ghaddafi but that par for the dem course.

That all depends upon your definition of a "war" and whether or not our original objectives were achieved.
Vietnam comes to mind immediately. Our objective was to stop the spread of communism in Indochina. We failed. We bailed and allowed the north to take over the south. But we never should have been there in the first place, so ...
Some will say we lost the war. Some will say we just lost interest and gave up.
Stupid people will say that it was never a war because Congress did not declare it. frick those people. That is insulting to those who gave their lives for the cause.
My own opinion is that the American people won. The American people overcame the neocons and the MIC and prevented further death and destruction. It borders on criminal that American lives were sacrificed for the egos of the neocons and the profits of the MIC.

So I see people bringing up Vietnam a lot. What most people forget is that the North did not take over South Vietnam until 2 years after the US withdrawal. According to the Paris Peace Accords North Vietnam would essentially give up their will to invade the South. Based on the treaty that was signed it could kinda be considered a win. North Vietnam just broke the treaty two years later.

The American military dominated the war in Vietnam. Politics kept the war from being a total victory.

If Iran is firing ballistic missiles and drone waves at Kuwait, why aren’t we immediately taking out the launchers and drone facilities?

What country was fired at?

Did anyone tell the Iranians that they agreed to that?

Kuwait but the targets were bases that house American troops and equipment. How many times can Iran fire at American troops and equipment before we do something about it?

Any word how many drones/missiles made it through Kuwaiti air defenses?

That would break the ceasefire.
