Plus under Trump, their ultimate fear of RFK is likely to be a member of his administration, several positions of which he can frick them over. So it’s as much to prevent Trump from sniffing the White House as it is RFK sniffing a cabinet position.

My younger cousin died of fetanyl overdose a couple years ago. Went through depression after his girlfriend died where she was hit by a drunk driver. The drug war is real for millions of people. This stuff holds weight.
These are regular folks, not professional politicians and speakers. Give them a level of respect in how they speak.

Her emotion was real, and I felt for her at parts of that.
These testimonials are a bit too stage managed and exploitative for my personal taste, but I don't fault any of these people for doing them. They aren't professional speakers and likely have never done anything like this before. I would bet that almost none of us could get up there and look polished in this type of environment, much less if we were talking about a deeply personal tragedy.
