Agree with this, data has to tell a story but also people need to know where it comes from.

One thing about hex data - it looks like hex data. There is no possibility of gleaning and information about what it is or where it came from by watching it scroll across the screen as a backdrop. It could be any hex data, from a NY times article compressed to binary to a dump of Burger Buddies typed into a Comodore 64 from an old Compute magazine. Anyone saying they know the source of the data from watching the backdrop is FOS.
