How you look and sound is extremely important when you're negotiating with companies to put their hq here, or leading a plea with legislators, etc...

I can’t ever recall a candidate’s supporters being as thin-skinned and willing to see the opposition party into office just because their guy couldn’t even make it into the runoff.

Abe supporters have been doing this to Eddie for weeks now.

I’ve been sitting here wondering who I would want to deal with if I owned a multi-billion dollar business and wanted to bring a large manufacturing facility to the state of LA.
I have no doubt in my mind that Doc Abraham is a man of great integrity and character. I just don’t see him getting the business deals done that we need. JBE cannot produce jobs in the Trump economy and he is a democrat, so he’s dead to me.
We need the state ran like a business, so Rispone it is for me.

Yep, Rispone for me as well after watching those other 2 morons.

That is how it should be thought of.

I'm going to vote for Rispone.

No one excites me
I'm going to have to choose the least worst one.

Maybe it’s his speech impediment (or whatever it is), but Abraham came off as slimy as Edwards. I came away not liking him, and I was completely indifferent prior to tonight (I missed the other debates).

While I had no intentions on watching it, I had channel on channel 9 and when I went in the living room it sort of sucked me in.
JBE came into a shite show. Bobby came in with a surplus and left the state in a deficit. I voted for Bobby twice and he showed his true colors his second term, I wouldn't vote for him again if he was running for dog catcher.
I think JBE has done a pretty good job and don't see a reason to prevent him from continuing to do what he started.
Those two clowns running against him, I just don't think they are the better option and I don't vote for people just because they are a certain party.

Likewise, but Abraham screams “just another politician”, he definitely doesn’t seem like a businessman and we know JBE is far from one.

It is his golly gee mayberry talk that seems disingenuous.

I don’t believe you. Your entire tldr reads like a libtard trying to convince us he’s a conservative for Edwards
Posted on 10/9/19 at 8:14 pm to OweO
Of course you’d support a socialist

I came into the debate wanting to vote for Dr. Abraham, but have changed to Mr. Rispone now. I think our state needs a business man with clear ideas on how it should be run. The only thing I dislike about him is his vote for Common Core.

One issue I have with Rispone is not legalizing marijuana. But that’s minor and no one else up there supports it so it’s a non issue
All three candidates say they want to create jobs. All three candidates say they want to improve the economy. All three candidates oppose legal weed.
Do they not realize how much money is in the weed business? Just think about the tax revenue generated during Jazzfest alone.
