The politicians fortify the defenses around their workplace using resources paid for by the taxpayers.
Taxpayers and private business owners are left to fend for themselves against attacks by rioters. These same politicians tell law enforcement to “stand down” and let the melee happen against the people they are supposed to represent. If someone dares protect themselves or their belongings, they risk being prosecuted by the very same political machine backed up by a biased judicial system.

There is no occupation happening anywhere in this country. The NG is in DC to put on a show and virtue signal.

That has plainly been the media, military’s, Congress’, and a lot of Republican’s talking points since the 6th.
This is a giant photo op meant to prevent Trump supporters from showing their faces on 1/20.
As far as Trump’s approval, he’s been peaced out for weeks. Besides, these things are not planned by the President on a personal level. I highly, highly doubt he gives a shite what the NG does for the Inauguration.
