Sure.
Factually: America is currently the world's largest and best economy with the most free populace and largest welfare support system.
But in your opinion we should upend that system and replace with it with one that's a gamble, worst case scenario it consolidates complete power in a small central government and the people eat rats out the sewers best case scenario its replaced by a system still worse than the one we have now that has increasingly been rolling back taxes and regulations to attract business back after they left because of high taxes and a small Hu failed expiriment with socialism.
Further, Sweden, etc... Have roundly rejected the socialist tag. They experimented with it after accumulating great prosperity under capitalism and it failed. So they have been steadily moving back to business friendly capitalism and tax structures.

Having a large social program like universal healthcare or high tax rates doesn’t make a country socialist. These countries have free market economies. Citizens can own businesses.
The Government does not control the means of production or all economic exchange.

Democratic Socialist does not equal Socialist. There is a difference. Not an AOC supporter by any means but those are two distinctly different philosophies.
