OP is sort of old news. It was said best during the campaign on here.
Trump's supporters don't take him literally.
His opponents do.
Art of the Deal and all that.
Now that he's the leader, unclear codespeak is fair game for criticism--especially when the "literal" language is far from the truth.

Well there seems to be nothing to the Trump anti-Semitism narrative.
Theres no equivalence between the issues of 1) voter fraud, and 2) the media trying to falsely tarnish Trump by continuing to imply that he is anti-Semitic.
Two completely different matters. Even you should've been embarrassed to try and connect those dots.

I wonder about the mental state of a person who actually believes Donald Trump over the NYT.
The NYT is dismissed by the right because of clear and obvious left-wing bias and skew in their reporting.
I would worry about the mental state of a person who didn't at least understand that very basic truth.
"Fox News is the most trusted and watched news in the country. . .therefore you should accept everything they say dammit. You are retarded if you don't!!!!111!!!!One"
That right there is how you sound. you are becoming unhinged, a want. . .and it is sad to watch your deterioration. I'm sorry for you that Hillary lost, but she did.

When the lib media runs these hit pieces like this and didn't run them with Obama they are only reinforcing what we already know they are nothing more than the left wings propaganda machine and have no credibility...

I don't care if every story they write is correct. Their bias is my issue. Until they can present the news without bias I have no need for their propaganda.
I admittedly don't read the NYT. Apparently that's a trend if you look at their subscriptions over time.
They can choose to be a fair news source if they want. They just haven't done that in my opinion.
How about this? I'll pick up the NYT for a week and see if you are right in that they are worthy of my business. Fair?

And I agree false claims directed at a person or groups usually warrant a stronger response.
But you can't just argue that, then argue that a response to another false claim implies the claim is actually the complete opposite and truthful.
You're essentially supporting the premise of the article in the OP. The truth is the truth; the response is irrelevant to that truth, yet you're not only basing it solely on the response, you're arguing complete opposite standards for assessing the truth based on different types of claims and responses.

I tell people that I have a new definition of the term " night & day difference." It pertains to the way that 92% of the media fawned all over Obama for 8 years, even propping him up & covering for him; as opposed to the way the media virtually attacks Trump at every turn.
Typical media question for Obama: "What intrigues you the most about your job, Mr. President?"
Meanwhile, Trump is still getting questions about Russia,anti-Semitism, etc.

Sauces say NYT is failing
This post more or less proves the point. In fact, the NYT is growing and profitable.
quote:
Thompson said 220 million people visited the Times on its digital platforms in November, and that the Times saw a net increase of 276,000 digital subscribers during the fourth quarter. The Times and other news outlets have seen a post-election subscriber rush that many believe reflects a desire among readers for professional reporting as the new administration takes hold, and dubious news stories run rampant.
"For comparison, that’s more net new subscriptions in one quarter than we added in the whole of 2013 and 2014 combined," said Thompson. "But perhaps the new president was referring to the New Year and guessing that there had been a post-election lull. If so, wrong again. ... We are continuing to see remarkably strong numbers of new subscribers."

Trump was a controversial figure long before he became president. Did you think the media would treat him like any other president?

So, the pot calls the kettle black. I've always heard that the 'guilty dog barks first'.
It is the Times and the Lib MSM that have become an Orwellian propaganda wing of the Global Progressive/Dem Party Political Movement. Won't matter in the long run; promoting the SUBSIDIZED immigration of people whose moral pragmatism have undermined and DESTROYED their own Countries (which they now flee) will easily open the eyes of what's left of the common-sense/non-delusional electorate in this Nation. And they are who gave us Trump, and will continue to support him...no matter his short comings.
Screw the Times. Let em' die. They sold out truth.

Charlie Sykes has been a conservative radio show host in Wisconsin for years. His conservative credentials are beyond reproach. He was a big Scott Walker supporter, for example.

you really think that's the reason for the disparate coverage?
It isn't, but I guess thats as good of a rationalization for the double standard as any I've heard.

Either way, it is not failing. So in Trump is wrong and the idea that the NYT is failing is a falsehood, aka a lie.
And look, a lot of people in this thread actually believe the NYT is failing when it is thriving. Unbelievable how gullible some of you are.
