Whiny bitches. Lying, whiny bitches. Unprincipled, lying, whiny bitches

quote:

Republican senators have loyally stood behind the president at every turn, even as he trampled party principles, shattered institutional norms and made crass statements — all in the service of empowering their own party to install a generation of conservative judges in the nation’s federal courts.

Now, with the biggest prize of all in reach — a third seat further tipping the Supreme Court to the right — they are rushing to collect on their bet, even if it is the last thing they do before they lose their Senate majority, Mr. Trump loses the presidency, or both.

There’s nothing better than the ever so rare times we have the Dems and media by the balls. They know it and they’ve bent over as you can tell from the slew of articles today.

Yeah that is not happening. The actions and articles I have seen from this news cycle tells me it will be a blowout and they know it.

Oh and it feels good too.

I find myself enjoying arguments on FB a little more, just because they know the trains coming, and there's nothing you can do to stop it.

If Republicans lose the White House & the senate, winning the SC seat will be a Pyrrhic victory.

The Dems will stack the court by adding 2 more justices to the SC.

Is this a news piece or editorial? It's hard to tell with the NYT.

It's possible, but one of my biggest complaints about Republicans in the past is that they don't risk it all to win.

Democrats have been playing the long game and they're willing to take huge risks like Obamacare.

I don't see how Republicans have any other choice but to play by the same rules.

I think most conservatives just want a textualist or constitutionalist on the bench. The fact that those two things tend to be conservative values is tough shite. That’s what the Supreme Court is there for, not to be another arm of Democratic lawlessness.

Dems have been threatening this since way before Ginsburg died. They aim to do it because the court in its actual function and current construction is a blockade to them running roughshod over the constitution. Don’t think for a second that caving to Dem demands does anything but further empower them.

When the Times starts grieving over the GOP harming itself, there’s a good chance the party is finally doing something right.

I dismiss the assumption that these are bad things.

It would be 4 to give them a 7-6 liberal majority.
