The New York Times is blaming Republican governors for “causing havoc” by busing border crossers welcomed by the Biden administration to Democrat sanctuary cities.

quote:

A political tactic by the governors of Texas and Arizona to offload the problems caused by record levels of migration at the border is beginning to hit home in Washington, as hundreds of undocumented migrants arriving on the governors’ free bus rides each week increasingly tax the capital’s ability to provide emergency food and housing. [Emphasis added]

With no money and no family to receive them, the migrants are overwhelming immigrant nonprofits and other volunteer groups, with many ending up in homeless shelters or on park benches. Five buses arrived on a recent day, spilling young men and families with nowhere to go into the streets near the Capitol.

quote:

As Breitbart News exclusively reported, migrant buses from Texas have started arriving at New York City’s Port Authority near the New York Times building. One bus that arrived on Friday was filled with mostly single male adults who have no ties to the United States.

They need to start packing those busses, you should have more than 20 on a bus. Hell they ride 20 deep in a honda civic

frick 'em.

All this shows is how impossible the situation is. Oh, it's fine "in theory" while illegals pour across the southern border, far from their homes. The minute they are right there taking up space in front of them, all bets are off.

Texas and Arizona need to add planes to the buses and send even more. And give them all state flags to wave so that locals know where they are coming form when they arrive.

Leftists absolutely despise anybody who forces them to live with the consequences of their own Leftist ideology!

Now that is really poor journalism.....politically weaponized to the hilt!

The LEFT never gets down to the root cause of any problems.....they only focus how it affects their childish narrative.

My, my how the worm turns.

Own it Progs. You had no issues keeping the gates wide open while it was dealt with hundreds of miles away from you.

Now that it’s at your own doorstep you whine and cry foul - just like we knew you would.

Why should the border states have all the havoc. Plenty to share with the big cities up north.

If I were to be clearer, all of them. Figured the moves would be limited by lack of busses.

And don't just send to the big cities. Send to the Hamptons, Cape Cod, Stamford and Norwalk, CT.

They let them in with the same problems that they accused border states of do then proceed to say it’s a problematic issue with 1% of one month crossings going to biggest east coast cities. Democrats at their finest hypocrisy

I think they’re just scared with how the Hispanic vote is trending.

New York gonna be purple if Abbott keeps this up.

NYC is supposed to be a sanctuary city.
It appears it's in name only for posturing.
They can't ask the National Guard for help, since DC's request was already rejected. TX is doing what's right.

I think it’s clever AF…this is how you put a stop to the border problem - make it their problem too
