For those unaware of how grand juries work, they only get the prosecution's side. There is no defense in grand jury proceedings.
My guess is that they're going to indict, but have no intentions of ever going to trial. This whole charade is nothing more than an attempt to keep him from being elected again. If he were to lose the primary, the case will have served its purpose and will quietly go away.
