Attorney General Letitia James appointed special prosecutor in alleged Cornell 'gang rape' case - ABC News LINK

Yes, you read that headline correctly.

Known for her even-handed and unbiased advocacy, I am certain the alleged perpetrators will be given every measure of their presumption of innocence.

Those boys are F’ed.

This is now no longer about facts, it’s political and when the blue machine is against you up there you are cooked.

Can someone give me cliff notes on why people are latching on to this case to cheer on some type of side?
The whole ordeal is shitty with trashy shitty people. What is the side to cheer for?

Because we're tired of women never being accountable for their actions because they're sweet innocent women.

Then in the same breath they claim to be oppressed victims of the patriarchy that just want equality.

No what they want is preferential treatment. Either shut up and get back to the kitchen, or accept responsibility for your poor choices in the name of equality.

Because communists, I mean Democrats, need chaos to vilify society.
This is now yet another chance to destroy white males, and at the same time uplift some marginalized group, in this case a woman.
There is no case here, every person involved made shitty decisions, but that never stops a Democrat from wasting the chance to push some cause.

Idk enough and more stuff comes out every day it seems but, for me, personally, I’d like if girls can’t do regret = rape no matter how trashy the situation

Because it’s titillating to women.

I don't think there's any good guys in this story. Problem is only the boys will be held accountable while the girl won't be held accountable for her own behavior at all.

A few weeks ago hormones were a valid defense in the Clancy case.

Won’t be allowed in this one, and the I was drunk explanation only works for girls, not for guys. If I was drunk is the basis for DWI, it should serve as off-setting penalties in this one. We can’t be treating both genders differently with this shite.

For those questioning why this case is only getting in the media now, it is primarily because Jane Doe’s story changed between her initial case and the new civil case.

Her previous statement has not been provided publicly but has been summarized by the DA as,
quote:

“Jane Doe’s sworn statement in November of 2024 did not allege that she was drugged against her will or gang raped. On the contrary, Jane Doe’s statement described her participation in drug use and sexual conduct as voluntary, conscious, and consensual. My office obviously did not and could not have based our November 2024 decision on the allegations in a civil lawsuit that would not be filed until nearly two years later. Furthermore, I have never been contacted by Jane Doe’s attorneys. Not to inform me the original statement was inaccurate and not to ask me to reconsider our decision. Rather, I reached out to Jane Doe’s attorneys after the lawsuit was filed to understand the discrepancy between the original statement and the lawsuit’s allegations and the proper path forward in light of the lawsuit’s allegations.”

And the left just made it clear with the baby murderer that any man who dares disagree with their preordained ideas about guilt or innocence will have their lives destroyed as a result so good luck getting a fair and impartial jury trial now.

Big Tish. The clown AG who argued that Mar a Lago was worth only $18 mil. I’m sure this will be a fair, meticulous investigation.

They don’t want political attack dogs to be smart, they want them ambitious, controllable and corrupt so they can’t ever turn back on their masters.

I agree our black friends have been being used by a certain group not to be named because of low iq, the problem in law is if they run into a real one attorney that is good and will decimate the states position.
