There is no reason to try and curb someone's war powers if they aren't being used.
It would be a waste of time.
If Trump had demanded unconditional surrender and regime change as he was making posts about, then it would have happened and it should have happened because our president does not have the power to declare war, no matter how much you want to fondle his balls.
It's funny how quickly you guys forget things about Trump. Every time something changes, your fragile egos make you start coming up with ways to claim it was the Trump plan all along.

I'm not sure what part you are failing to understand.
Did Trump send out a message that said "Unconditional Surrender". Yes, 100%.
Did Trump send out messages talking about "Regime Change". Yes, 100%.
Are those things the president making war? Yes, 100%.
Does the president have the authorization to do so? No.
So again, as long as Trump has backed off his previous stances, then it's not needed.
Where did you get lost? If the shite was still going on and Trump is still going in that direction, then Massie should bring them up and keep them up.
It's time that we quit allowing people in charge to claim everything is an emergency as a means to bypass the law. The only reason you disagree is because you're a member of the Trump cult.

I dont support BBB in a vacuum but its clear Trump needs this bill to pass. Its a binary choice and Massie would not be taking this level of flak if he hadn't supported Bidens FAR left bill.
