I cared the moment I laid eyes on Sophie Cunningham.
Edit: I should mention that while I believe I saw photos of her when she played at missouri, I became a fan after learning of her jerking the hood rat who assaulted Caitlin Clark down to the hardwood by her weave, following a flagrant foul.
I can't say I've always been a fan of hers, but the moment she popped up on my radar, she became the Pinnacle of women's sports, in my book

The entire crux of the issue is they can't stand that a white heterosexual woman is the face of the WNBA. They loathe Caitlin Clark for taking them from playing in arenas that held 5K to 8K to selling out and playing in actual men's NBA arenas.
