I toured LSU after Oxford and decided to go to Oxford. I was underwhelmed by LSU’s campus and Baton Rouge. I moved to Baton Rouge years later for a great job. The money was too good to pass up and it was enough to deal with having to live in BR. A second residence in Uptown New Orleans helped.
