I find it hilarious that the religions on this planet that have been the most militaristic, with the most infighting between them, all believe in the same God.

Wasn't he banned from this board?
No, wait. That was Dan Kern. He was a real piece of work. You recent members of the board missed a lot.

Meh. Arguably more tolerant than some Protestants.

Why does religion matter? If they follow the constitution than who gives a shite?

Get a hammer.

Get a nail.

And for God's sake get a call into Martin Luther.

Seriously, I'm more concerned with a supreme's ability to interpret the constitution than the bible or papal doctrine.

it is meaningless as long as they are able to interpret the constitution without letting their religion cloud their judgement.

I don't think southern baptists would be a good fit for that. They would uphold laws against dancing and push for prohibition again (kind of sarcastic, kind of legit worried)

Do you know you have an incredibly oversimplified understanding of Christianity?

Well, since were talking about the high court, what LAWS would practicing Catholic and Jews enact that Protestants couldn't live by?

How about some agnostics and atheists. There are 25x number of Jews in USA.

Being a "clever dickens" does not do justice to Jewry. Smarter. Better writers.

Muslims say they worship the same God as Abraham but they most certainly do not.

Did the God they worship send His Son to die on the cross as an atonement for our sins so that we would not have to pay the price for them?

Considering Judaism and Catholicism are steeped in legal tradition. It really isn't that surprising that those backgrounds would produce high level judges. But it's not like the supreme court hasn't been majority controlled by Protestants for much of its existence either.

Meh, the Constitution, if properly applied, covers me just fine. Thanks for your concern, though.
