Northern Virginia Counties Say They Will Ignore Youngkin’s EO Against School Mask Mandates

One of Virginia Gov. Youngkin’s first actions was an executive order allowing parents to decide if their child will wear a mask in schools.
Three DC suburban counties (Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax) have issued statements declaring they will ignore the governor’s order and will continue mandating children wear masks in schools in their districts.
Biden Press Secretary Circle Back then issued a statement thanking the schools for keeping her child safe.

Three DC suburban counties (Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax) have issued statements declaring they will ignore the governor’s order and will continue mandating children wear masks in schools in their districts.
Biden Press Secretary Circle Back then issued a statement thanking the schools for keeping her child safe.

His executive order allows parents to opt out of any mask mandates issued by local systems. I dare them to punish a child for choosing to do so.

If the parents want to mask their kids ok I guess, but without any clinical evidence to show they work zero reason they should get to dictate those decisions to other parents.

How will they stop a child from attending class? In honor of MLK I hope he brings out the national guard to escort the kids into the school, ah how the world has changed, a bunch of rich white kids need protection against a few white loons.
