Under the new scale system, an A would be 100 to 85 percent, a B would be 84 to 70 percent, a C would be 69 to 55 percent, and a D would be 54 percent to 40 percent, according to the bill.

wow F that! I am a teacher and that is suicide for the state. It tells the kids and their parents that they can continue to be lazy and get even better grades. When they get to college they will fail.

A prime example of the phrase " the dumbing down of America".

Third world countries, shove to hold one. We're coming at you full steam ahead.

I want more kids who have faced adversity

And can bring that adversity to campus

Just make everything about a 1% test score an A, that way everyone can be smart.

That's how the 15 minimum wage mindset works right?

Why not just remove failing grades entirely?

This is a great example of the left's approach to things.

Don't like reality. Let's redefine terms, and then all of a sudden things are better.

I'm fine with that plan. Grades don't matter when there is no desire to educate yourself.

It comes down to whether the kid and the parents have an interest in education. The grade received for not learning is irrelevant.

The results are the same.

The diversity of life experiences is a vital part of a well rounded university experience. You can't find that in a place where only the privileged occupy those spaces.

Clearly no one did their own research. It’s not a grading scale for students but school performance.

F. King wants more campus crime

Then we can all experience the hardships of the poor

Imagine these kids getting to college and arguing with a professor about how a 65 is a B+

We need to be decreasing the length of summer, increasing rigor, and finding alternatives for kids who don't want to learn.

But instead, we are doing this.
