Probably be Chris Christie
Aggressive, but apt to corrupt; His version of Politics is akin to Obama's 'Chicago' style, just in the RINO/Swamp Cabal. He'd embarrass Trump.
Confirmation will be the problem. Dems are insane.

He needs to pick a Trump loyalist.....he needs his version of Holder or Lynch.
This is especially true in the political environment he will be dealing with for his two terms.

After Cruz wins in November, he'll be in for six years. I'd rather keep that spot solidified than give Beto another shot in a special election vs an incumbent candidate with a lesser-known name than Cruz

Heck, Abbott could send himself to DC. He outperformed Cruz in their most-recent elections by almost five points.

quote:80yo, so you are clearly joking. But I would have little problem with someone LIKE Dershowitz.
Dershowitz
His personal politics may be liberal, but his Constitutional and statutory interpretation are soundly Textualist and Strict Constructionist.
You or I might not like the policy impplications of some of his hypothetical positions, but they would stand on firm legal grounds ... unlike recent Dem appointees.
