Giaever has been saying this and L.A. has been posting it for literally ten years LINK

The video is from 2015. Did you watch it? if so, can you refute his points? If so, I'd love to hear your rebuttal to him.

NOAA got literally every single winter 2017-2018 prediction wrong.

There's some good material out there about chaos theory and weather forecasting and the so-called Butterfly Effect. It explains why weather forecast are wrong so often. Long story short: Even the smallest variable in a climate occurrence (wind, sun, etc) can completely throw off a weather forecast.

Remember this lsu professor yelling at his class "the blood is on your hands" in regards to global warming.

the blood is on your hands!

I had that tool in some astronomy class. He talked about global warming a lot. It's 100 percent fact in his mind. Incredibly smart guy otherwise.

The speaker's point regarding this claim that climate science is incontrovertible is really all you need.

The morons and Liars are simultaneously constantly adjusting their models after data doesn't conform to the predictions and claiming that the results of their models are incontrovertible.

That should literally make any thinking person who knows anything about science Blanche in disgust.

In addition. Anyone claiming to have good temperature data from the 1800s should be considered a priest and not a scientist.

He talks about that in the video. he also talks about the utter absurdity of knowing what the "average" temperature of the earth was at any time in history.

this is the part that bothers me. I have no issue with a scientist saying he believes the data points to global warming being likely.

That's just normal science

What I do have a problem with is this. Good scientists spend as much time trying to prove themselves wrong as right

Moreover. Good scientists articulate in advance what it would take 2 refute the hypothesis.

So can someone show me links to all of the government reports and all of the scientific papers articulating how to test in order to invalidate man-made global warming or at least invalidate their assumptions regarding the effects

I'm sure you would, because that would mean I wasted several hours of my life watching a video and composing a detailed rebuttal with citations that could be summarily dismissed with "where's your Nobel prize" to thunderous upvotes.

Instead I will simply point out that Nobel winners are at just as high a risk of emeritus disease as anyone else. Brian Josephson shared that physics Nobel with Giaever and he took up transcendental meditation and believes in telepathy. Kary Mullis has a Nobel in chemistry and endorses astrology and AIDS denial. Luc Montagnier has a Nobel in medicine and pushes homeopathy. Call it Pauling's Law: A Nobel several decades ago is no guarantee of accuracy today.

Given the choice between an emeritus scientist yelling at clouds and the vast majority of actually working and publishing scientists, I'll put more stock in the latter.

(I actually did see this video when it originally went viral, although it didn't leave much of an impression and didn't seem different from similar jeremiads by Dyson, Happer, etc.; light on detailed criticism of the physics and heavy on (1) non-physical assertions about ecology/economics like "CO2 is a net benefit!" and (2) generic conspiratorial inveighing about The Man keeping skeptics down)

We should be focused on clean air and water, let the temperature sort itself out.

Thats a lot of words to convince yourself that the scam is real. You could have just stuck your fingers in your ears and gone...."NAHNAHNAH NAH NAH....Na Na Na...HAHNAH...etc.

In other than some isolated cases here and there, is there a current problem with bad air and water in the US?

I can respect this.

Really, everything that can be said on both sides has already been said. We will either have environmental catastrophe or we won't. But no one is crossing lines on this topic anymore.

Just watched a report on Fox news concerning the ice buildup on the Hudson River in NY. They've been running icebreakers 24/7 for the past several weeks and think the icebreakers will be needed for the next 2 months.

I'm in the KC area and it's fricking cold and has been since the 2nd week of December. MO river is close to being solid ice and the KS/Kaw river is solid ice. Have not seen a stretch of cold weather like this for a few years, long range forecast is calling for some warmer weather with highs back into the 30's-40's vs single digits and teens. It's 8 degrees right now and it's dropping to -4 early this AM.
