But that would dispel the myth of inherent Alphas and would also make one question motives like putting completely unqualified people in the White House because you think they're an alpha in different situations that are unrelated.

now I see

I would think they are idiots and not because of some alpha male boogeyman

No one. That's her bubble showing. For most, not Hillary was enough.

You did no such thing. Alpha males don't exist.

are being disingenuous or hard-headed. There is no evidence of an adherent alpha male quality and it is entirely subjective. The way the term is used in the rest of the animal kingdom does not work with you and beings and you are simply choosing which qualities you like in a man and calling it alpha male.

I agree. And I'll defend you by giving an example used in Red Pill / MGTOW circles.

Both males are early 20s.

Male A is your typical college jock. He is muscular and athletic. Can be a jerk at times but has generally good social skills. His major is exercise science and he mostly lives life in the moment and is not really a planner.

Male B is an Certified Accountant. He looks relatively normal physically (not fat, but lacks physique). He socializes but isn't at the level of Male A. Not a pushover, but prefers to play it safe in most interactions. He wants to own his own business by his 40s.

Male C is an ex-con. He grew up hot wiring vehicles and generally getting into trouble. His socialization skills are more aggressive than that of Male A. He tries to keep a domineering presence to hide the fact that he suffers from his past of an alcoholic father and druggie mother.

Now in all of these instances, you can find attractive male traits and unattractive traits. All of these men can be Alpha given the right environment and particular women.

This board makes the same mistake many people make when deciding an Alpha. It is entirely relative to your environment. And it certainly isnt exclusive to a political party.

Im convinced he is a shut in that spends too much time thinking about how to start the next thread.

I have no idea what he or she is talking about.

Do you suggest that their are not dominant, or alpha males, in the animal kingdom?

it's a relative argument, implying sexual value is different for different people/scenarios

which those promoting the "alpha" theory don't disagree with

the deadbeat and "jock" are seen as "Chads" in this theory. they are seen as the most valuable when women are young at at their sexual marketplace value (SMV0 peak. the traditional theory goes that they spend their lives 16-30 (or so) overrating their value due to banging tons of chads, then they hit "the wall" around 30. their SMV is drastically falling and Chads aren't as common. so they hook a provider (like example B) who they're not sexually attracted to, but who will over-value their SMV and be a stable provider

so yeah, volod is right, but i don't think his argument is what he really intended

Classic overanalyzer to the point of making his original point moot.
I agree with some of his stuff but because the time he reaches a conclusion it's muddled.
