NIH Scientists made $710 million in royalties from Big Pharma during Covid; $690M to NIAID

During the pandemic, the American people started to feel that Big Government was very cozy with Big Pharma.
Now we know just how close they were.
New data from the National Institutes of Health reveals the agency and its scientists collected $710 million in royalties during the pandemic, from late 2021 through 2023. These are payments made by private companies, like pharmaceuticals, to license medical innovations from government scientists.
Almost all that cash — $690 million — went to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID), the subagency led by Dr. Anthony Fauci, and 260 of its scientists.
Information about this vast private royalty complex is tightly held by NIH. My organization, OpenTheBooks.com, was forced to sue to uncover the royalties paid from September 2009 to October 2021, which amounted to $325 million over 56,000 transactions.
We had to sue a second time, with Judicial Watch as our counsel, to pry open this new release.
Payments skyrocketed during the pandemic era: those years saw more than double the amount of cash flow to NIH from the private sector, compared to the prior twelve combined. All told, it’s $1.036 billion.
It’s unclear if any of the Covid vaccine royalties from Pfizer and Moderna, the latter of which settled with NIH by agreeing to pay $400 million, is even included in these new numbers. NIH isn’t saying.

Now he’ll also need to account for bombshell emails sent by one of his deputies, which described in-house strategies to circumvent the federal Freedom of Information Act.
Fauci won’t be able to misspell words to evade scrutiny or have folks physically courier messages — just two of the FOIA-avoiding actions described by Dr. David Morens, a key Fauci deputy.
Instead, cameras from around the world will be trained on Fauci and he’ll be answering for information he gave in a sworn deposition earlier this year.
Unbelievable. Made more than double in one year than they had the previous twelve combined. “Follow the money!” It’s right there clear as day what happened. These scientists took millions to murder people in cold blood.
There’s no way Fauci is only worth $11 million. He’s got way more than that hidden somewhere from his buddies at Big Pharma, the intelligence agencies, and Bill Gates.
I’m really looking forward to tomorrow since I guarantee this is what he’s going to get ripped for by both Republicans and Democrats. The narrative is changing, and some of these fricks are going to be given at least a life sentence, although I doubt Fauci given his connections to the CIA and Bill Gates. He has to be protected or they’re all fricked.

Why don't we have the detail on every royalty payment made to NIH or its scientists - how much, from whom, and whose bank account it ended up in?
How much has Fauci received in royalty payments the last 25 years? We should know that number.

Wonder if he falsified business records

Didn't he (or was it people that worked for him) intentionally misspell keywords in emails/records so material wouldn't be searchable in a FOIA request?

RFK actually has a great idea that Trump should do regardless is put out an online portal that will tell you exactly where all of your tax dollars are going and where these agencies budget comes from. That would fix so many problems in this country because people would be outraged to see where their tax dollars are actually going.

Yes he did do that, and then he’s going to say some bullshite like it’s been almost 80 years since he’s had a spelling class and just accidentally repeatedly misspelled things.

Before last month, I’d never even heard of Morens’ name. This is just a fall guy and errand boy that Fauci used to go between himself, Daszak, and the rest of Big Pharma. Yeah, he probably deserves the death penalty too, but I’d rather take him in and make him squeal against Fauci and the others. He is a much worse liar than Fauci or Daszak and much dumber than either as well. Rand Paul agrees with me here that this is the clear spineless rat in Fauci’s circle, and we can easily make him squeal.

I like his block chain idea for the budget but it's one of those things that will never ever happen. Muh national security and all that.
He has some good ideas on cleaning up corruption and has a vast wealth of knowledge on captured agencies and stopping that shite. Especially this NIH bullshite. Knowledge Trump and his AG will need to tap. I'd like to see Trump and Kennedy come to some sort of agreement and he's in at least an advisory position.. or a special counsel..

So does this report show how an arse clown like Graves can make millions by buying stock in companies that were going to give the jab? That dumb MF couldnt make a cheeseburger at McDonalds but he was right on this.

I wonder how much Sec Austin and Gen. Milley recieved to mandate the vaccines for the military.
I would bet they were compensated very well.

Them pretending prior infection didn't provide protection at least as good as the "vaccine" was a huge red flag.
Anybody with any science background should have been like "hold on, WTF?".

This. But that's all. No Climate BS or 2nd Amendment BS from RFK, Jr as we know he is constitutionally sane in some of his views vs his radicalism in others.

The thin veneer of our free market is wearing bare. We are ruled by unelected bureaucrats.

Honestly, we have to send a message that the party is fricking over and get all these assclowns. Milley absolutely cannot escape the death penalty given the open treason he did, but I would allow Austin to sing like a bird so long as he incriminates Blinken, Milley, and Mayorkas. All three of those should have no opportunity to escape the death penalty should they be convicted.

But their motivation was altruistic. They wanted to save lives and money played a minimal factor.
