For the most part they stopped covering it last season. During the anthem for most games that I watched they would just focus on the field and singer; if they showed it at all.

And their “protest” is fictitious and not tied to a specific incident or person. Just the phantom topic of “police violence”, which effectively translates to a message that most or all cops are bad and hate black people. That message just doesn’t resonate with most folks in today’s society when considering the criminal populace.

Anyone curious as to why we don't just have an avalanche of stories reporting what all these so called "activist" have been doing all offseason to correct the "social injustice" they are protesting?
That isn't how propaganda works.

Because 90% of them did nothing but bitch. Teams tried to release charitable efforts of their teams last year and it ended up looking like college seniors first resumes for their real jobs.

No moron, the NFL's streak of increasing revenue and profit is over. And it is over for good.

When is the next CBA being drafted?

Oh, what will happen when the salary cap is forced to be reduced??

These "oppressed geniuses" better hope that new CBA is redone soon. The more years they protest, the smaller their salaries will become.

Why people care about this is beyond me. Those who are outraged are just as bad as the people that they call snowflakes and similar names, just looking for something to be offended by.

My buddies and I will continue to watch and enjoy games because we aren't going to give up something we enjoy over trivial shite.

I really do question the mindsets of those who are o addicted to watching the NFL, that they would allow their beliefs to be trashed by a bunch of layers that can't intelligently explain what they are protesting. There are no facts to back up their complaints. The fact is that Black people have a lot more trouble complying with the police than do everyone else.....yes, all races but black. I would venture this is the same case in 90% of other countries, if not more, even black governed. Are they asking for Blacks to be treated better than everyone else?

And what about you people that "support the military"? Have you been out raising money, voting to raise taxes to support the VA, or just standing while a song is played and buying one bumper sticker for your back windshield?

Oh, goodie! Another empty gesture. Right up there with the ol' thoughts and prayers. Not actually doing anything, but pretending to.

Its So incredibly satisfying that no teams opted to suffer through his insufferable baggage of lies and disruption.

My belief is that no one should be made to stand for a "national anthem" in a free country. Forced patriotism doesn't make people more patriotic, so my beliefs aren't being trashed by the players kneeling.

You mean, do something behind the scenes where they’d get no publicity or notoriety for being the true heroes they are? You racist pig!

It's the best time of the year, the NFL is back. It's just really silly a lot of you have to pretend to not pay attention to it and pretend to not watch it.
