Next week's New Orleans mayoral run off is a complete referendum on Trump

Think about it, two powerful women of color, LaToya Cantrell and Desiree Charbonnet are running to erase the last eight years of a cis gender shitlord's reign over the city. The fact that the New Orleans voters poured their support to POC who are in opposition to everything that the right stands for is all that needs to be said. The city wants to dump Trump.

Trump only received 15% of the vote in New Orleans. The City never wanted Trump to begin with.

The OP is using NO to make a point about the races won by Democrats in Democratic friendly states and the narrative being built around that this is a massive repudiation of Trump.

You guys are doubling-down on the ignorance. NOLA voting for 2 black candidates is the norm, not something new. Mitch being elected in 2010 was an anomaly and he was the first white person to be elected mayor of NOLA since the 70s.
