I shite you not - the person who opened my eyes to conservativism and the GOP was a gay as frick co-worker. I'm talking walked like a dildo was still up his arse homosexual. He was republican as they get though and loved guns as much as he loved his boyfriend's dick.

I thought, "if this guy is so conservative then maybe I should open my mind to the GOP and see what they're really about".

Not to mention more testosterone than 80% of Republicans in Congress.

Can someone translate this quote from the Newsweek article you linked?

Ten percent of the men that Trump annoys the living hell out of realize the entire Democratic Party has gone completely insane.

I think it’s more of a push back from the gender fluid ideology. Gay men had to develop their own identity and culture over decades all for it to be grouped in with gender fluid new liberals within a decade of a Supreme Court win. Progressives steam rolled over the gay community and embraced a whole new ideology even before a victory lap was taken.

I think a lot of The gay community are starting to see passed the pandering of liberals and Democrats and just want to be left alone and not be apart of a political movement.

Voting for Trump is not racist. It's called making the best decision for the future of the country.

My sister and her wife are voting Trump.

My sister hates him but is so angry at the BLM movement she doesnt care. My sister in law I can tell loves him but wont say it to my sister. When we talk in private she talks about how bad arse he is. Then my sister comes in and "he is an a-hole".

Either way. That is now every female in my immediate family voting Trump, and not a single one did last election.

I know my family is a anecdotal, but I highly doubt this has not happened across the country.

you have caught a lot of hell on this site since I have been a member, but I have always respected you and enjoyed reading your comments

although I have more often than not disagreed with you, your comments have almost always been thoughtful and well reasoned (except when you were trolling, you also have always given as good as you got)

so, I apologize for the trolling I ever did in your direction

I mean, at a certain point, the "modern" Republican Party is essentially the classic liberal party of 60, 70 years ago. The Dems are the party of the revolutionaries (and not in a good way).

Alinskyism is only going to go so far with people who possess working brains and critical thinking skills.

Why specifically are gay people voting for Trump? Which issues are they seeing the light on?

Openly gay single men in the US are one of the wealthiest, most highly educated populations and nearly all of them work for a living. A far higher percentage of them pay taxes compared to the general population. They are also overwhelmingly white (again, we’re talking about openly gay men).

It’s not hard at all to imagine why a demographic made up of affluent, employed, tax-paying white men would be fed up with the left’s shite.

He treats gays as people, not categories.
