Who is "they"? Maybe they thought the documents had been destroyed? Maybe a patriot put the docs in the burn bags hoping they would be discovered later when the rot and corruption of current leadership had been removed. How exactly do you propose this obsolves Comey?

The only plausible reason that these incriminating records weren't burned is that Comey did not personally possess the records (for obvious reasons) and that whoever did possess them was scared to destroy evidence. Their fear being warranted by the possibility that there were copies, and that if a whistle blower jumped ship, the whole thing would crash and they would be left holding the bag. It's like hiring a 'hit man', as there is always the possibility of an obviously dishonest, unscrupulous and self-preservation-oriented person turning on their boss. Truly there is no honor amongst people of this sort; albeit they hold the line for self-preservation.
It's good to know that Comey has to sleep with this. Arrogant, hubristic hypocrite that he is. He earned it. Now he has a choice, to either give up his partners in crime or bear the whole load. Like common criminals do who won't cop a plea for ratting.
The honorable and wise men that Founded this Nation would puke in the hall of Congress if they were to see who now sits in the seats of power. And Comey is far from being an anomaly in that profiteering cesspool of humanity.

If these documents were found as reported, the CT claiming the MAL raid was really to steal back the documents is dead, as an stupid CT is effectively disproven (unless, the Deep State, which controls the world, is retardded)
