Native people are so absurdly out of touch if they think that if it hadn’t been for Europe then they would be sitting around fires living out some glorious nirvana they created in their heads without any other people’s doing the exact same thing, except without any thought to their well being or benefit. Japan would have rapied that entire island, and China put them in sweat shops or workers to construct forward operating bases, both to control the Pacific. And the same goes even more so for Australia, as well as the Americas. BUT, instead of being grateful you had civilized peoples who had a sense of decency in their culture, they deride them as if they are subjugated by some terrible people, and the truth is far from the reality they’ve conjured up in their heads.

First time I ever saw this Haku thing was at a rugby tournament in Park City, UT, in 1979. They were full grown men, and I have to admit a little intimidating.

Then a few years ago, while visiting my oldest son and his wife, that live on the North Island, I met this guy, who had just decided to go full tribal, with the face tats and all. This was after he had decided he wasn't gay "anymore".
