New York school under fire for cartoon comparing cops to KKK, slave owners

“Enough is enough,” Paternostro told The Post.
“This cartoon is disturbing. We have to respect the men in blue who protect us,” added the mom of two, a native of Poland.
“We don’t need a teacher brainwashing my kids. I’ll teach my kids about what’s right and what’s wrong.”
Her daughter Nicole said she was troubled by Moreno’s lesson plan because she considered it one-sided and anti-police, too.
“The cartoon was disgusting,’’ the teen said. “It compared the police with all the terrible people in history. It was not fair. It wasn’t right.’’
Nicole said she has been bullied on social media over the past few days and called a racist for blowing the whistle on the controversial lesson plan.

Indoctrination pure and simple. I was at Costco yesterday and a young girl probably in junior high was yelling about a guy in the store that had a face mask on with the flag and a blue line through it. She was extremely vulgar. She ranted about how he had the nerve to touch his mask and then other items but the mask was her real problem. She said that he was racist for having it. The thin blue line was a sign of racism. I looked at her, the little brother and the adult and just shook my head. These are brown shirts in training.

Blame parents not the leftists. Parents have not been paying attention and have been delegating their responsibilities to teachers and pop culture, and now social media. This has been cultivating for decades and it has been fertilized by parental apathy. Indoctrination through the "education" system happened in every other failed socialist experiment. It will be complete when Americans are disarmed CAN'T fight back!

Right? I need to see the prompt before I join the mother in outrage over this. Cartoon 2 is the antithesis of Cartoon 1, which makes me question the claim that this assignment was being used to indoctrinate the students. It could be a critical thinking prompt based upon cartoons discussing current events?

So the prompt is that cops are basically evil incarnate as illustrated by cartoon 1, but if they cater to BLM, then even rioters should “forgive” them (cartoon 2).
That would be my take away from the lesson. What is another one:
The BLM / ANTIFA / COVID sLogan of,
“We are all in this together!”
