I'm pretty sure it was a rubber bullet or some other less lethal round, not a tear gas canister. I posted the video earlier that shows the skull fracture it gave him and how badly he was bleeding. Regardless, that particular comment you quoted was about other commenters talking about killing communists generally, not what happened to this guy in particular.

Tear gas cans can actually blow up your hand pretty freaking good. You should have seen those yellow jackets in France pick up those tear gas cans, hand basically gone.
