Do you believe an accurate generic '22 poll would show Republicans with only a 3 point advantage?

I was thinking Trump at 44% with Biden at 39% is nothing to be beating your chest about.

1/6

To me, 1/6 is no different than the scene in Star Wars ep 3 when the Jedi temple was attacked and occupied by the clones

Except it didn’t succeed.

Trump is a loser who couldn't even build the wall. DeSantis get things done. I stand with Ron.

I would be wary of his support. Those backstabbers will vote Biden over Trump, they’re the same type that did last time

You can subtract 8-10% from Biden’s numbers, the last 4 election cycles prove that.

I’ll vote for either Trump or DeSantis. My thought though is that if DeSantis runs I think he beats Biden so bad that no amount of cheating could steal it for the Dems, if Trump runs I think he’d win but it would be closer and would make it easier for Dems to steal it.

Comparing any real life event to a Star Wars plot line is not a great way to establish you are capable of having an adult conversation.

What’s the analogy in Naruto? Harry Potter?

I will as well. My emotional side is pulling for Trump to completely emotionally destroy the figs in the Republican Party.

This board underestimates how many conservatives left Trump because of his effort to undermine our national fabric after his close loss to Joe Biden

Were I to ignore his actions after the election and jump back on the train in 2024, I would be exposing my character to history’s rebuke and the censure of my own conscience.

The president’s effort to overturn the 2020 election is perhaps the most egregious violation of an oath of office that I can imagine. It was a grotesque abuse of public trust.

Conservatives didn’t leave Trump, he got more votes in his second run and the hypocrisy of claiming that challenging an election was the most egregious violation ever when it’s happened several times shows that you’re simply dishonest about everything you say.

It would make the 2024 race closer. Unfortunately Trump is despised like no other. I know DeSantis would be pilloried, but he won't drive the dems to the polls like Trump. DeSantis is the easiest path to the WH.

He had a speaker and senate leader who hated him and a majority house leader that works for China.

I absolutely love DeSantis but Trump got this train rolling. Out of pure respect I’d vote for him. Just think back to Trump/Hillary, where was DeSantis?
Trump overcame unattainable odds and won.

I’d probably rather have DeSantis but I also know that he will have time thanks to Trump.

Let’s be honest here, you don’t know a damn thing about anything you set out in that first paragraph. That’s just a hunch and you like the way it rolls off the tongue. And I’ll also be glad to acknowledge that most of what I set forth is pure speculation as well. But it’s not the best look to really, seriously try to sell it as expert opinion.

Furthermore. take note that with the assertion about conservatives leaving Trump, obviously that’s not anything that could have had a bearing on the actual 1010 election, as the way you frame it refers to post-election activity.

And finally, you are laying out a landscape wherein no challenge to any election is allowable or acceptable. To completely dismiss one’s right to challenge an election he or she participated in is as un-American as anything that’s been said yet. Don’t confuse the right to challenge (or not) with simply your own opinion of the legitimacy of the challenge. Just because you disagree with the merit doesn’t nullify the right and ability to do so.

That blocked his agenda. Paul Ryan is and will always be a Student of Romney.

Paul Ryan is STILL trying to promote globalism to this day.
