That he hadn't discussed sanctions with the ambassador (Pence had gone on a Sunday show and denied that Flynn had done it, supposedly because Flynn lied).

fBI had the transcripts of the phone call in front of them . So Tard , They could see for sure if he was lying or not . Try again . Based on what Flynn was saying and what the transcripts said they didnt think he was lying . Not because Flynn was this genius bullshitter.

We need to rethink how this crime of "lying to federal investigators" works, I'm pretty sure it was not intended to be some sort "pass this memory test or go to jail" sort of situation.
