We’ve always had access to domestic lithium, but environmental, land rights, and water rights concerns have prevented development. Apparently those concerns only matter to electric vehicle drivers if they affect the U.S., not if they affect other countries.

Southern Arkansas has tons of lithium as a byproduct to Chemical plants in El Dorado and Magnolia.

If this makes your weiner wiggle then go buy some SLI. They are leading the industry in extracting from brine.

Come enjoy the misery. My 5k shares at $7.40/share is loving this $1.80 price.

Just say govt regulations have prevented it. Gotta pay off the right people.

Between this and the simple fact that we have a plethora of untapped natural resources, if the government would get out of the way, a la John Galt, we could have very cheap energy.
And since we have to drill to get the resources and materials for renewables, drill baby drill.

They should send it to Chicago, Detroit, Philly, San Francisco, Minneapolis, and DC - the people there really need to be taking it.

Do they have actual lithium or do they have investors in an unproven plan to synthesize lithium from petroleum by-products?
The vaunted British Foreign Service spent decades and many lives trying to smuggle rubber trees out of the Amazon basin and just as soon as they had viable rubber plantations in India scientists in Pennsylvania and Germany simultaneously created synthetic rubber from petroleum by-products.

Sounds like any time I have decided to "dabble" in stocks outside the ETFs etc in my retirement accounts. So, don't tempt me to buy, even at 1.80, because it would most assuredly tank to sub 1.00 for years to come.

Lithium is an element.
You don't synthesize it.
Are you talking about extraction of lithium salts?
Rubber is very different as it's a hydrocarbon mixture. It's not a single element.

Where do you invest? In a stock, etf, or directly in lithium?

Probably should ask our Congress. I am sure they would be all over this. Especially Nancy. They set the laws on the stock market which benefits them. That's how your laws are passed folks. Honestly it's not only Nancy. It's on both sides. Throw in a dozen lobbyists and both sides will buckle because that is money in their bank account.
