Seems like a pillar of the community. I want Ag Zwin’s take, since he wants all developments on this case to be silenced on the board.

I haven't put my hat in in any of the Ahmaud stuff yet.

But jeez, man. There's no point in arguing about anything other than whether or not those two men made a good judgement call to follow and confront someone on the street all vigilante justice. It doesn't matter what the victim did or did not do three years ago or even if he's committed a crime before running away.

When you post something like this, what are you trying to articulate? That he was a criminal, so it's okay that they did that? If not, what's your reason for beating this horse?

This case is creating enemies on this board. Actual discussion has been thrown out the window. “I’m right cuz I think I’m right damnit!”

Looking at you MOL

Seems like the type of guy who would routinely check the progress of new home constructions in area neighborhoods.

Uh, it sorta does. Not the jogging or trespassing, but whatever he did when he ran around the truck matters a great deal. This video certainly makes me lean in one direction.

I say that as someone who’s already described the father/son pair as idiots who made a very poor, very expensive mistake, and that’s at a minimum. It may yet cost them (or at least one of them) several years of freedom.

Who here is arguing that? Literally no one is defending the two murderers.

Has it been verified if he did or did not break into the McDonalds car and steal a handgun?

Expect more narrative collapse on this guy. He was a standard thug.

Including the fact that his suspicions about LE maybe not being completely on the up and up have been proven true one thousandfold.

When those idiot fricktards in Nevada and Oregon refuse to cooperate with the government and "occupy" federal facilities for weeks/months at a time, why they're the greatest! Freedom fighters!

But one man in one rural southern county pushes back against comply or die and he's a terrible person for even attempting to assert his rights and his innocence.

bullshite. The clear implication of threads like this is the guy deserved it. Just like the threads about the construction site. Just like the threads about the imaginary Timberlands.

I've yet to see such a thread pertaining to the dumbfrick baws - despite the fact that at least the dad had a few troubles himself.

It wouldn't bother me, if they'd had a gunfight, and all 3 bought the farm.

Guys like this are proof that Austin isn't Texas, it's the Anti-Texas, and should be nuked from orbit.
