I watched it
If you had watched it you would have known that the X user you brought to the thread and copy/pasted a frickin essay from was flat wrong in her premise.
Further, as has been explained, the fuller context here, even beyond which user "Grey" erroneously tried to correct is that he said he has read over 100 such books and out of all of those books and the countless analogies he could have chosen to use, he used an example of Jesus Christ being powerless against evil. While speaking to Americans, who are predominantly Christian. Which is foolish.
Also, I went on even further and tried to explain that my hope with this thread wasn't to get off into the weeds about God, but to talk about the political blunder of saying such a thing to an American audience.
No, you're quite wrong about my intentions.
Pay better attention.

Yes.

The purity filter for supporters & allies need tweaked by some Trump supporters
The purity filter is the Israeli lobby convincing the evangelical crowd that they need to support Israel for the last 70 years. They're now saying braindead shite like this. That isn't a "purity filter", it's shitting where you eat.

Jesus conquered death. Pretty sure Genghis never got a +1.

Have you ever heard the story surrounding Kahn's death? It was insane and quite the opposite. All of the people who were tasked with hiding his body and burying him were put to death by a group of men who then committed suicide. I don't know if there's any truth in it, but that's the story I've heard.

Here is the beginning where he gives the context where he is referring to be willing to fight and defend themselves
But by all means carry on
Said differently but along the same lines

The OP picks up right where he says, "it's a very brief, 100 page book." The video in the OP never claims that those are his words. It's quite clear he is quoting from someone else.
Again, this isn't the point and was already explained back on page 1.
At any rate, yes, we need to be willing to fight for our civilization. And we are. And we HAVE BEEN for a long damn time. Pretty much for the entirety of our 250 years as a country actually. My issue, and I'm pretty sure the issue a lot of folks are going to have is this war monger standing up there and telling Americans that they have to be ruthless in the name of God. With the audacity to invoke Jesus's name and proclaim him powerless over the likes of Genghis frickin Kahn to boot.

Wow. His come to Jesus meeting won’t end like he hope but maybe he’s not a believer no matter what he’s a POS

And I’m supposed to believe Israel is our best friend when they constantly spit on my savior? No friend of mine…

Napoleon says:
Contrast this with Netanyahu's words that, although he didn't pen, he agrees with, that say we are to be ruthless in the name of God and that Jesus is powerless against evil men.
This is the problem. And it saddens me that so many here cannot see this.

Bibi has been rather bold in his mockery of Jesus Christ lately, yet some Christians will still defend him

Oh, but it's ok says the peanut gallery. Because after all, he is a Jew and what else can you expect? Nevermind the fact he is speaking to a nation of 350 million that is predominantly Christian.
They're "Gods chosen people."
All I'm saying is that it was an utterly stupid thing to say. And if people have noticed my religious type postings, they could admit that I'm not any sort of "holy roller" type. Just calling balls and strikes. And politically (AND PHILISOPHICALLY) it was a ridiculous thing to say. Bold, audacious, outrageous. Arrogant.
A blasphemer.
