Yes but they probably only use it to read Daily KOS, Huffington Post, Mother Jones etc.

Therefore they died intellectually

I always find it funny that a lot of the same people that post stuff like this are the same ones who complain when facebook or twitter censor their messages.

Run a search of threads from Fall 2017 on this board and see the meltdown of people on this board crying about how the loss of net neutrality would be catastrophic.

Where are the NN defenders?

They were melting as hard as election day. What was that one bitch's name? The soccer fan?

The criticism of the latter is the selective enforcement of their policies to the benefit of leftist political causes.

I would like to see the case made that this is an in-kind form of political activism and them being required to report and leftists being required to claim the value of the censorship on campaign finance filings.

Of course, I would really like the online town square to be free from censorship altogether so that the market can regulate the speech of those on the platforms through ridicule, social stigma and general openness, but the big tech leftist overlords are first and foremost leftists and can not not control the users of their platform, so we have the situation we have today.

So what you are saying is incorrect. 100 years from now all those people will be dead.

So one hand govt saves the day by making industry practice illegal (censoring messages), but on the other hand the govt was the bad guy for making sure internet traffic was treated equally among all websites (net neutrality).

Got it. Makes total sense now.

HUH? Where are you making the connection between censoring speech online and free enterprise?

I see it no differently than refusing service to anyone they see fit. It's their servers, programming and equipment that is hosting their customers speech. If the owners dont like they can tell them to go elsewhere.

Imagine a bakery that you own, and you have some gay customers that come in and ask for dildos to be put on the cake. Should you the owner be mandated to honor their free speech?

Its hilarious that people who post on a message board would be against Net Neutrality when it's purpose is to protect things site like TD
